You can export a PDF of your current map view using the PDF export tool. When you open the tool, you will see a PDF preview of the map that will be exported. You can use this preview to center your area of interest and adjust the layout.
You can control aspects of the map layout by adjusting the export settings. When you adjust a setting, the map preview will update to reflect the new setting.
Select the page size for the exported PDF.
Change the orientation of the page
There are multiple settings specific to how the legend will appear on the exported PDF.
Choose whether you want to include a legend, and if so, where it should be located.
Adjust the legend text size. Using a larger text size will improve readability in the exported map, but requires more space for the legend. Note that the text may appear smaller in the PDF preview than the exported map due to scaling differences.
Choose whether the legend should only include symbols for features that are visible in the current map extent or whether it should include symbols for all layers that are turned on. Filtering by extent helps keep the legend shorter and easy to read, but it makes it unclear which layers you have turned on.
Optionally add a title to the map. The title will appear above the map.
Metadata about the generated PDF will be included in the lower left corner of the map.
