¶ Fertilizer Sources in SnapPlus V3
Accounting for commercial fertilizer is an important part of a nutrient management plan. Fertilizers can be entered and modified from the Fertilizers tab. This tab contains a data table where fertilizer data lives:
¶ Adding Fertilizers to a Plan
SnapPlus includes the following options as "standard" fertilizer sources:
- 28% UAN (Liquid 28-0-0)
- 32% UAN (Liquid 32-0-0)
- Ammonium polyphosphate liquid
- Ammonium thiosulfate (ATS)
- Liquid 10-34-0
- Liquid 4-10-10
- Liquid 6-24-6
- Liquid 7-21-7
- Liquid 9-18-9
- Ammonium nitrate
- Ammonium polyphosphate
- Ammonium sulfate (AMS)
- Anhydrous ammonia
- Calcium nitrate (CN)
- Diammonium phosphate (DAP)
- Monoammonium phosphate (MAP)
- Potassium nitrate
- Potassium sulfate
- Potassium-magnesium sulfate
- Triple superphosphate (TSP)
- Urea
- Calcium sulfate (Gypsum)
- Polymer-coated urea
- Potash (Potassium chloride)
Standard fertilizers cannot be modified once they are entered. If you have a custom blend, you'll have to enter it using the Add custom fertilizer button. Only a name is required to save a custom fertilizer to a nutrient management plan in SnapPlus V3.
